Occupancy Sensor wiring via plug in ceiling rose.

I've just picked up a lighting job fitting occupancy sensors through out a building. The wiring is to be in T&E clipped direct above the false ceiling and terminated into plug in ceiling roses. Its the first time I've used occupancy sensors and was thinking of terminating the sensor wiring in a separate besa box with stuffing gland with flex to the sensor then looping the switched feed from this to the fittings as required. It has occurred to me that I could terminate the switching circuit into a 4 pin rose socket and then fit a 4 pin rose plug to the sensor. Anyone see any problems with this ? They are all small offices with new LED fitting so the load is well under the 6A rating of a Klick rose.

10A clicks are lol but yes use a click for sensor and just add into first light box. I.e ale the switched live to sensor and then switched live back to first to first light.

Have any of you guys felt with exor sensors, says you need infrared tool to set them or something .

We use 4-pin Klicks for the sensors and EM fittings, and 3-pin Klicks for standard fittings. We sometimes (depending on the type of lighting box), take the feed through a double pole 20A key switch for EM testing.

Ex-or sensors can be programmed to the users spec via a hand held lighting programmer. It can be used to set different parameters, for example; absence or presence, sensitivity, range, time, lux level switching, and many more.

Depending on the project, the manufacture will commission the system for you.
