odd volts on pendant

I did a PIR last week and in the utility cupboard a single pendant which was in the whole house light circuit showed, 112V L/N and 118V N/E I suspect water ingression but the rose cover was dry all other lights on this circuit were fine and Zs was within limits, with no other associated issues any ideas,

Looks like it is in series with another resistance, did you check connections at switch ?? Did you check L/E voltage?

A resistive connection in the neutral line forming a potential divider with the bulb (112 +118 = 230), bulb would be dim, or much less likely, could it be wired in series with another bulb somehow ? It is about half of the supply voltage. Only relevant if you are testing with bulbs in place of course.

Thanks for the input chaps going back to it later next week to carry out the departures anyway, I will have root around for another lamp in series there is a shed out the back I couln't get into might be a light in there
