Its been ages since my training and I've never installed to batteries before, so it'd be great if someone could point me in the direction of a resource where i can brish up my knowledge! The project is for a client who has bought about 5 (remote) acres and wants power for an electric gate and lighting. The hay barn that has a south facing roof but is surrounded by 40 ft trees. I therefore was considering a ground mounted system, but am concerned about resistances etc if I move the array far enough into the field away from shading.
cheers
