Hi I am new to the forum and wondering if someone can give me some guidance. I am currently an off shore Electronics Tech and looking to move up to Electrical supervisor. The job requires me to have a good understanding of the electrical system, 11kV generation and various distribution boards, 690v, 480v 220v etc. What is the best route for me to go down to do training on these systems? I see some companies offering LV and HV training but wonder what sort of level they go into?

Cheers for that. Im not too bothered about costs, just need to get them done. What about this one epitgroup.com/courses/hv-lv-safe-working-practices-guidance/

Best to check that they are recognised industry courses ie city & guilds, opito etc.

Some training centres only offer an appreciation or attendance certificate which won't be proof of competence.

Aset is city & guilds with practical and writen exam in place, not sure about Epit
