Hi guys,

Frankly I am bored. Domestic is dead boring, commercial much more interesting if it is big enough project but generally i am bored of them all. So I am thinking maybe I should try offshore. And the money should be better as well....

Any advice how should I start? Where to look and who to contact?

Thank you!

Offshore a lot is to do with WHO you know not WHAT you know but one route would be to get your RGIT (a must) then apply to go offshore as a roustabout and work your way up. Once your foots on the rig you r sorted

find someone who is a gaffer, learn to swim, spend a fortune on courses, then pray, closed shop that game man

Not so much off-shore as simply overseas, but anyone have any experience of getting on to construction projects in other countries? Dubai, Abu Dhabi etc. I've always wondered, could be tempted!!
