No problem Paul, at the moment i have positions available for experienced offshore electricians, but I bo believe there will be opportunities in the near future for asisstant/entry level positions. it is important, that you network as much as possible, mainly with current offshore workers via LinkedIn and start builidng up knowledge and contacts that you can use to your advantage.

I would completely disagree that to get the start offshore, its about who you know..it certainly helps, but just as important is a selective approach to looking at companies/agencies that could provide a start. With the increase in new vessels, it is only a matter of time before many of the companies will have to fill entry level positions and train new crew members.
