Old cable, sockets, switches etc....

Hi everyone, just thought id ask if anybody has any scrap lengths of cable, switches, sockets etc... that were just going to be thrown in the bin and would be willing to post them to me ? Obviously id pay the cost of p+p

Im just starting my level 2 2365 and have started the course 3 weeks late so I have a bit of catching up to do

Was hoping I could get some bits together to practice at home some of the assignments ive been given to work through in college

Thanks Tel, just seems a bit of a waste of money going out and buying reels of different cable sizes when I only need a small amount that I can use time and time again

The boards we use at college are only around 1200x800mm in size

Try one of your local wholesalers, they may have loose ends spare.

Nice too see your wanting to learn at home, however make sure it's on a board don't want you slapping it about with your houses electrics lol

yes its definately on a board, been to wickes and bought myself a bit of ply

i was tempted to get myself a tester and start going through the CU but i thought maybe thats not a good idea haha !
