old colour wiring

cleaning out uncles shed and found about 5 rolls of t&e cable and loads of other cables iv never seen before, isit a big problem as its red and black , isit for scrap or can i use it in older houses with red and black

Some people might use this for new work, if they didn't want to notify and certificate.
The only way you could legitimately use it would be to oversleeve any exposed cores at the terminations.

There was rumours of red and Black going for very good prices on ebay, home owners were buying it up so they were able to do DIY rewires and claim it was done before 2005

just tell everyone ya know , man electrocuted trying to fix a socket or a light then they wont go near it and then they use you..
