I've got an old yellow 14th open to offers ....................
Looking for a copy of the 15th, if you've got one, and it's cheap enough.
Jeez malc thats the one they had my 1st year at work if i remember right 1976 ??
My main interest at present, is to find out whether there was any Regulation in the 15th regarding Cooker Switches?I only have the one each of the Red and then Brown 15th unfortunately spin otherwise would be glad to pass one along. I think I'm like a lot of the guys love the old regs book and try to get them .My old spark that trained me has a 13th from the early 60's and he reckons a 12 from his old sparks that trained him from the 50's which I'm on a promise for.

I also have the old E.E.T.P.U on site guide somewhere. I believe the regs for cooker switches were much the same as they are now. Perhaps when I get home I'll have a look.
Yes, the 14th had:Has it changed from the Yellow 14[SUP]th[/SUP]? I had to borrow a BRB and OSG for doing my 17[SUP]th[/SUP] no way was I spending that amount of money for a doorstop.
About it’s of any use in my field as far as I’m concerned.
If a cable passes a 50% Ductor test it’s there for me! Normal readings would be around 0.0005% due to the plants being all steel framed. I suppose if I go back in to work again I may have to contend with concrete structures, which will mean different testing methods.
The Ductor tests hold it for me every time. Core (return) continuity / 2 * earth return continuity.
Yes, the 14th had:
"A.29Every stationary cooking appliance shall be controlled by a switchseparate from the appliance and within 6 feet of the appliance. Where twostationary cooking appliances are installed in one room, one switch may be usedto control the two appliances provided that neither appliance is more than 6feet from the switch."
Whereas now we have no specific Regulation at all.
