Old storage heaters

In the process of replacing a load of storage heaters, not a job I'm enjoying but work is work.

Does anybody know if scrap metal merchants will pay for these or the bricks. I can't see the local tip being too impressed if I try to offload them there.

I cant see them being impressed either Im assuming you have had the asbestos taken out ?? old heaters contain it in bucket loads

That delayed me for a few weeks. Had them tested and they don't contain asbestos.

Glad youve had the asbestos checked ,youve got no hope on the bricks but the scrap metal guys will take them , you wont get much for them as metal value has dropped but as they say every penny counts , copped scrap yes buys me and my lads a day out occasionally
