Hi all, first time posting here so will start with a little story
I have just installed a new Fire Alarm system in a school, with fire alarms as most will know you have to have a totally dedicated circuit for the supply. We have found when we went back to the Db that the old type Federal Db was installed. The NIC say this is fine as long as the usual disconnection times are met, however when we put it to them that they are not servicable and you can only buy secondhand(can we guarantee they will trip under fault conditions) they went quiet. The moral of this story is if you use your head you can gain extra business. We are now replacing the Dbs
