I wonder if I can put them on the 13A timer so maybe someone knows how much amps/wats they consume? Also I am afraid if the big one is not a asbestos one - don't want to dismount it just because asbestos risk...

agreed. nearest skip. Ugly, Old -fashioned, inefficient. anyway that's enough about Me, the heaters are pants as well

I tried big one (storage heater) on 13amps fuse and it worked all night long. Do you think 13amps timer can do?
PS. Flat is rented not owned. Skip is no option.

Hi zom.
I think a clamp meter may answer your own questions.
With it being a flat, i can guess there's only one ring final circuit and the storage/panel heaters look like 3Kw jobs so depending on what other appliances are in use i would err on the side of caution.
On the health side of things, as of the mid 70's onwards all heaters were made asbestos free so you're quite safe to remove the front cover and check for the manufacturers plate, normally located by the cable entry, but do not attempt to open the main element/brick compartment untill you've checked on this list storage heaters containing asbestos
Hope this helps.
Colin.

well i think the idea with em anyway...is to get em up to some sort of tempreture first....then just turn em down to te point where they kind of
just hold their heat withiut using loads of juice........
