Old Wylex CUs

Anybody know the dimesions of the old Wylex boards?

I'm doing a quote to replace an 8 way and a 6 way which are butted up to each other and no spare room around them, didn't take the measurements whilst I was there, looks like I may have to fill with RCBOs rather than split board(s).

sometimes when i see two boards like this, one of them is often 'off peak' supply only for immersion/storage heaters etc, also most modern C/U are bigger dimensions, height as well as width

From memory they are 10"-12" x 6"-8"

Before I have done a CU change with 5 circuits (for main house) and 2 circuits for off-peak - I put both in the same board with RCBOs for main house and an RCD for the Off-Peak.
The home owner wanted only one board and not 2 side by side.

Have you thought about putting the 2 boards underneath each other? If there is room?

No room to put them underneath. All cables are rear entry so not really possible to put them into 1 large CU, without a lot of hassle! Both CUs are peak supplies, as opposed to off-peak.

Not sure without seeing the install - might have to look at RCBOs like you said or extending loads of cables
