Hi

Can someone please explane to me how to use the iet onsite guide index I carnt get my head around the numbers eg Appx G , 7.2.7

Thanks

If you look at the Contents pages 3-5 all will be revealed. You will see that the OSG is arranged in eleven Sections (1-11) followed by eleven Appendices (A-K).
So using your examples:
Again referring to the Contents pages, Appendix G, is Certification and Reporting and starts at Page 151 and has four Sub-sections G1-4.
7.2.7 means Section 7 (Final Circuits), Subsection 2 (Standard Final Circuits) which starts at page 68 and Group 7 (Choice of Protective Devices) is found on page 70.

Now take away the first number you thought of and the answer is 27! Tried this trick several times and it always works! Lol
