It's probably still quite accurate despite it's age,I have a brand new in the box megger ohmeter from donkeys years ago,I collect things like that.

One of my mates loves reading those catalogues that you get from screwfix and toolstation and is always looking for an excuse to buy new stuff even if he doesn't need it.His wife calls them his toolp0rn mags.lol

CLARE was a top notch company in it's day. Test instruments came in wooden cases like above or in 4mm metal cases for use in heavy industrial environments. I still have a Clare high current low ohm meter, used for testing CPC continuity of metal containment systems such as conduit and trunking...
