Hi all,

Im a fully qualified corgi registered plumber and i would like to expand my knowledge into electrics. Ive heard of a course you can do where you receive a big study book and work your way through it and then every couple of months you go and take an exam. Now im not really sure if these exist.

I wouldnt have time to go to college 1 day a week or even just at nights. Also i would still be plumbing so i wouldnt be getting any experience of electrics. I really want to become a fully qualified sparky though so any help would be much appreciated, thanks

if you just wanna cover the basics of domestic instalation part p 17 editon etc there is a national company called olci , that have courses that may be able to help , just type it into your browser

rather than online course, i think i would suggest going to college rather than an online course, you have face to face contact with your tutor, so can ask any questions that come up right away. its not so convenient as an online course, but i really think its the best way to learn
