I have an ooze dripping out the end of my main cable! Calm down its not a medical complaint!!!
Its a lead sheathed supply cable, where it joins the head there is a substance similar to black grease dripping out. I have not seen one do this before, has anybody? I spotted it whilst doing a PIR today, as its on the main cable I noted it for the supply company to investigate.

quite common, maybe the incoming cable has overheated at some time. as it's DNO equipment, then as you say, report it to them.

Yes its a tar like substance right?

In my experience like Telectrix said its due to overheating. Usually a 'Lucy´box with said cable coming in bottom and tar dripping out bottom

yep. if it's a problem, it ain't your problem, it's theirs. report it is all you can do, but advise client to chase them up if they are dragging their feet.
