Hi All,

I'm going to be starting work on soaial housing, where I will be upgrading kitchens and bathrooms. I've been told that once I've second fixed I need to leave in oozie boxes from the back box to socket, fcu, switch etc, so that the plaseters decorators and other trades can work around the fittings without having to disturb them. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get these from.

Thanks in advance

Eh?...Well what we do on kitchen jobs is just put old grubby fronts on (temporarally of course) then go back after the plasterers, tilers etc have been in and made their mess everyware and replace with new...back to the wall....job done and "our work here is finished"....

i got mine from B&Q, not sure if they still do them but the name you have is not correct its close and i am trying to think what they are called, i b&q ones are a differant make

Ok i found it, the guy that makes them recons he invented them, but had already bought the b&q one before he invented his version so i am not sure how he worked that out.

Thanks alot guys, really appreciate your help, i have managed to source em locally, believe it or not from my usuall suppliers, i phoned them last week and they had no idea of what i wanted, today when i went down all disapointed he asked what exactlly I wanted, after explaining it to him he said' oh you mean gaskets, yea we used to store them but chuked them away cause no one uses them...... actually let me check i think i saw some last week which i was kicking around down in our stores' 5 mins later he came up and handed me a huge job lot, not ones i've used before, but they do the same job so, well happy
once again guys thanks for all your help.
