Next Month:

I'm looking for an apprenticeship 2365 Level 3 and hopefully do domestic to earn some extra money.
I'm only 18, whats people's opinion on how I am going about becoming an electrician?

Also is there any tips on getting domestic experience and how to get known?

Hi Jake,

You will definitely need to complete the 2365 Level 3 and bridging assessment unit and then go on to complete the NVQ 2357 (work based) and AM2.

Would advise that you contact local electrical contractors and make enquiries with them about getting some work experience in the domestic sector. You can find your local NICEIC contractors by going to the NICEIC website and then type in your postcode to find a list of contractors close to where you are living.

Hope this helps and all the best...
