I'm looking at the option of connecting smoke/fire alarms to a texecom premier security system. Are these any good and does it work doing it this way?

Thanks guys

by all means connect them into a zone, but it will not comply with regs. as in mains operated smokes with battery back up if the lalarm system developes a fault, you may be left with no fire protection.

Thanks for the reply, I see what you mean. I didn't think of that I just thought it has mains with a battery back up but obviously if the panel develops a fault then there is no fire or security protection
