Came across a problem on a rewire where in the kitchen the original sockets
Where all spurs dropped from upstairs

Could not chase walls as all tiled and customer not wanting to replace

So options where:

Wire 2 x 2.5mm radials with jb's above and drops down

4mm radial with jb's and drops down

2.5mm ring above jb's and drops down

2.5 radials for each socket

I opted for 2 x 2.5 radials in the end as loading was minimum

I am interested in others opinions on this and what they would do

Tiles a no go

Ideally yes a spur drop is not the best
However 3 double sockets is not a lot and not contravening regs by jb above and dropping a spur down capping

But i hear you
