Hi can anyone tell me what alarm panel would be a direct replacement for the above panel. I have never touched an alarm system before so i'm going to have a bash for a friend. The bell started going off after a power loss, he was unable to reset it and the bell continued for hours. He took a hammer to it and smashed it off the wall expecting the bell to stop, it did eventually some 6 hours later. Firstly what could be the likely cause of the bell going off and not being able to reset. Secondly if i replace the panel with a suitable alternative would i be able to use the existing sensors and door contacts. Will the bellbox need replaced as well.
