OSG appendix 8.7

Hi all table b here shows the miniumAmount of sockets required....is this for a new build or is it refurbishment also?Part B require main smokes on refurbishmentOSG appendix 8.6 figure 8A only states the socket heights come into play on new dwellingsBut the minium sockets in 8.7 table do not state either?

The OSG is really a guide, some of our Scottish lads may correct me but I think it is only the Scottish Building Regs that stipulate a minimum socket designation in rooms, I don't think the English building Regs do

Sorry last bit is me just explaining that other parts of the OSG are giving info about whether something should be done to just new dwellings or on refurbishments also.....would table 8.7 dosnt say either.....but I amHappy with your answer of it being a guide.Thankyou
