This is a little off topic but...
We have a number of Sykes GP150M effluent pumps. I have had one overhauled last July that dragged on and returned October. Between Oct & Dec I had issues that the overhaul company were called back to. Over Xmas the onboard vac pump (for priming) failed, so went away again for overhaul. Returned and refitted. Failed again. Returned and fitted. The overhaul company are now fed up with putting this pump right. They also suggest that I get the manufacturers in at cost to root cause the pump issues, or purchase a new one through them.
Both parties are fed up with the situation. I want a reliable pump unit... they want to leave us with a reliable pump unit.
I have requested numerous times for an analysis of the failures to no avail.
