(OTT) Old TV crime drama series

Hi all,

I need to pick your brains: I am after the title of a crime drama series, broadcast approx mid to end nineties, played in wales, the DI (or whatever he was) had a
japanese 4x4, his daughter joined the police force later in the series, the guy had
grey hair and a beard, his daughter's name could have been Hannah. I want to buy the DVD set (if it is available) but I can't remember the title of the series. Google was a no-no. Can anyone remember?
