Evening gents. Got a job to quote tomorrow for 3 additional outdoor sockets now i havnt done outdoor sockets before i prefare to be indoors and staying warm! So im just after some pointers am i right in thinking that wiring should be swa? Since theres going to be 4 2gang outdoor sockets it would be advisable to turn this into a ring as they should only be 1 spur? Many thanks for advice and sorrry for the messy paragraph typing on my phone

jf you can come from a spare RCD protected way in the CU. make them a 16A radial. make sure all your SWA cables enter the bottom of the socket boxes.

well let me thinks

i think you will be fine with 70mm SWA cable, but I don't think that will fit in to the socket terminals.

I could be rong, may be another electrician has come across this problem, ask them how they solved it.

Na that will be fine dude just par them back to around 8mm they will slip in..Remember where most of the Electrons flow in a conductor ?
