Hi,
I recently replaced one of three outdoor pir lights which worked fine.

today I installed the second one, which didn’t go so well. It’s not working and now neither is the first one I installed.

does anyone have an idea of what could cause this?
I am by no means an electrician and my knowledge is very limited.
I believe it’s wired correctly as I just did the same as the first one which worked up till now.

any help would be appreciated

thanks

Hi - sorry to hear it’s gone wrong for you ... it might be that power is no longer through connected to the lights. Can you post up a pic of the wiring from today’s change?

When power is restored to PIR lights it’s normal for the light to turn on for one cycle, regardless of daylight or movement. This confirms the lamp still works without having to wait for sunset. The light shouldn’t just flicker, they should be properly on for say 20 seconds or more. Is that the case?

nope, when I installed the first lamp it did, this time nothing, have been out since dark and nothing. Seems like the new light has knocked something with the old lamp.

Are these interconnected? Do they face each other or their ‘zones’ crossover each other?
