Hello,
My cousin is an electrician and has connected 3 Core twin & Earth to a switch in the kitchen which is currently running a 150w PIR Security light at the side of my house. The 3 Core T&E runs out into my garden and left on the reel waiting for me to hook up 3 spike lights. I have bought the lights but my cousin is now away until the new year and I'm keen to hook these up and confident with most DIY. My question is this... I have Earth Live and Neutral and I'm linking these with an outdoor junction box which has a built in terminal block (but only for 2 wires) the image i've attached shows 3 spaces which makes sense for twin and earth.
What do i do? Which wires do I connect in order to daisy chain these lights? Shall I just get a replacement terminal block with space for three wires? Or is one of the cables needless anyway?
