Hi all

Just carried out bonding upgrade to oil boiler & water cables are run externally clipped to building about 25 metres as quoted. Customer has now decided they don't like the colour and wants them covered. Has any one got any suggestions as to best cover them over without dismantling everything & threading them through conduit.

Also as the boiler & water are next to each other could I just use one 10mm cable as opposed to two as I have done & bond both together as long as I keep the cable continuos.

Thank you

that brown capping stuff you sometimes see on the outside of buildings?

Hi - Thanks for that, already done it, had to disconnect & run through 20mm black plastic conduit a bit fiddly would definately like to find something different for next time.

I am not familiar with the brown capping any idea where to get it & what it is actually called?

i dont know mate, ive seen it on the outside of buildings (shops ect) wherepeople can walk past, and it covers cables that are clipped to building. I think its there more to stop people pulling the cable off the wall (accidentally or not).
