Ive been asked to look at job later this week, which involves upgrading 70w sodium flood lights to LED. Can any one recommend any they have used?

Also the customer mentioned they are on built in photo cells at the minute so just on all night from dusk, they would like them to be maybe timer controlled. I havent looked at the job but he said they all just have a permanent feeds and are not all on the same circuit.

Has any got any recommendations of timers/controllers that they have used? Or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Thanks for quick replies, im not sure if the lights are the only thing on the circuit (will know more when i look) so not sure if ill be able to switch the whole circuit through a contactor

But you would only switch the part of the circuit that feeds the lights anway surely?

Talk to your wholesaler about which fittings will give off the same lux output as the 70W sodium’s.
If that’s what the customer requires.
Control could be a combination of timed, photocell and manual operation if done through contractors.
Need to look at the job and see what is feasible
