Am looking at taking on a job for a friend, involving triggering ten lanterns round his property via a pir across his drive, with the option of an override switch for parties etc. All this after an early morning visit by some ne er do well scumbag.
My understanding is that I would need to use a contractor to achieve this.
am struggling to find suitable kit for install online, but cpc looks promising. Any advice out there guys?
regards
richard.

If your lights are 100W each or less you'll get away without a contactor. The PIR I use most is the Spectra 2000 which, according to the installation instructions, is rated at 1kW for tungsten filament or tungsten halogen lamps.

Why don't you try a GJD sapphire lighting controller. You can put up to 4 sensors on that give good coverage (30m x 30m I think?)

Sensors are run with alarm cable, take your supply into the controller and switched live out to all the lights.

The controller has an override button on it too.

Have installed them on a few commercial offices and they work well and look good.
