just got some low energy gu10s just seen on the box it says no timers or dusk til dawn sensors the house is wired with a dusk til dawn and 12v mr 16s i was going to convert to mains gu10 low energy can anyone explain why they cant be used on the dusk til dawn thanks

PIR's, Photocells and some dimmerss cannot be used with these lamps because the lamps do not have a permenant resistive circuit ( which the foregoing ) need to operate, but if you install 1 standard GU10 fitting and the rest L/E it rhey will work
