hi all
a friend of mine has just recently had a hand car wash built on some land that he had spare
its a do it yourself jobby like that basically runs its self.
i only a second year apprentice but i noticed whilst having a nosey that the x20 250 w metal hidal lamps that illuminate the car wash are not rcd protected. but he has rcd protected all the pumps the blow dry system and the compressor and vacs. anyway getting to the point he used this as his nicc assessment and i saw that the assessor looked at most of the termination ect. but the outside lights are not rcd protected and in my rules if its out side it needs a rcd on it or is it me going totally mad

thanks for any responses danny
