Hi all
I have a new hob which draws a max of 13 amps and an oven which draws a max of 30amps The supply cableto the CCU in my CU is 10mm2 and MCB is a wylex 40amp the CU is RCD protected.
My question is can I connect both the hob and oven to the original CCU which is 45 amp rated or will I have to run a separate Cable from the CU to supply them individually? (This I would rather not do as there is not a spare space for another MCB ).
Also would the 45amp CCU stand a 50amp mcb as I am unable to source a 45amp wylex?
Thank you is advance for the help.

David
