Hi,

Can someone point me in the right direction for what to do about metering when a system is greater than 30kW please.

Thanks

Depends upon DNO and FiT licensee.

Also depends upon wether you want to be paid for export or not

If an export meter is to be fitted, the DNO will issue an MPAN specifically for it.

You question has already been answered:

I've now looked at all the threads and find myself confused with all the different opinions posted!

The usage of the building is unknown at this stage and, therefore, electricity usage is unknown. I think I may suggest to the owners that they should see what their consumption is like before opting for an export meter because of the additional costs incurred for metering.

So with this in mind, would I right be in thinking all I need to fit is a 3 phase total generation meter?

Thank you
