Anyone managed to get an Owl to upload their generation data to pvoutput.org ?
The owl is connected to the AC output from the inverter and giving a reading pretty close to the inverter.
Im using pvbeancounter to upload the data but can't get it to upload as generation.
It only seems to work if set as consumption data.

Sorted !
Just wasn't giving pvbeancounter long enough to upload all the data.
It took 2.5 hours to read all the data from the Owl for the last 2 weeks. !!! :dizzy2:

Just to update this thread, I've swapped to a Current cost Optismart as the owl was giving inaccurate readings at lower power generations.
The owl is reading 185 watts this morning whereas the Envir display is showing 29 watts.

People wishing to monitor Solar systems without leaving a PC on 24-7 can use the following solution:

Optismart>EnviR>Netsmart>Router

The Optismart is very accurate in reading many solar generation meters.

Please see Current Costs suitable meters list before buying.

Has any one found a reliable way of directionally measuring imported power via a clamping system or alternative?

Most CT clamps only measure magnetism and not current direction.
