P.A.T. Certificate software

Very similar post to one running at the moment, however I was wondering specifically about PAT related software.

I have just downloaded a free trial of TYSOFT easypat, this seems to be excellent!

Does anyone else use this?

Can you recommend any other software?

Never used TYSOFT, but I can recommend 'simplypat V.5' about £65+vat, especially for manual testers, I've had a demonstration of the downloadable version about £240+vat and its also v.good. Theres a pat software doing the rounds on eBay for about £5 all in, don't bother its c**p, I bought one thinking wow thats cheap, with software you get what you pay for.

I use powersuite from megger I can use the same software for the PAT 4 and the megger 1553

Hi what tester are you using I have the seaward software Patguard plus software which is excellent for volume testing depends how much you do. I currently do about 10k test per year and I think i may have spare older version if you interested

I dont do a great deal of it, I spend most of my time house bashing, however my father bought me a Martindale HPAT 600 for christmas and asked me to PAT test his factory!(Made enough to pay for the course)

Did the 2 day PAT course and have since had a few local jobs doing PAT.

It is not something I wish to get into in a big way, too much competition at silly prices, but I am finding it usefull to fill those empty days I am getting at the moment!

It is however important to me that I do this as profesionaly as possible as I am likely to pick up domestic work from it!

Hi there would you still have the older version of software? I bought the seaward super nova plus and didnt get any software with it, it second hand but got a download lead, Im about to head down to Lancaster on Monday to start doing Pat Testing for Laura Ashley shops.
