Hi guys,
I am hoping for some advice regarding a p.i.r. i have been asked to on a small garden machinery workshop.
The consumer unit (single phase) has four circuits, two socket rings, lights, alarm.
All run in steel conduit and was installed around five years ago.
All looks well, however, this unit is part of a larger building were three other units are also supplied from the same three phase intake.
The c.u. in the unit in question backs on to the three phase intake position and is supplied by shortish tails through the wall.
Now here is the point i need some advice...there are also three switch/fuse units which supply the other three work units (estate agent, offices), thees are old and a bit shabby,
If they are situated in the unit i am testing , are they classed as part of that instalation?? I hope this makes some kind of sence to you all, Look forward to your replies, please let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks J
