Hi guys, just wondering, what you need to be able to carry out periodic inspection reports, I have got my city and guilds and sitting my 2391 next month, but i suppose you probably need part p or to be a member of the N.I.C or napit etc. it is just that my friends mum has quite a few houses that she lets out to students so I could get quite a bit of work out of her.

Professional indemnity insurance, alongside public liability.

You dont need to belong to any scheme to carry out PIR's as long as you can prove yourself competent, which the 2391 does.

However, some will require that you belong to one of the schemes.
