Panel Heaters

Evening folks,

Is it ok to supply 2 x 2kW panel heaters from the 1 x 20A MCB on a radial circuit? Supply is 2.5mm T&E.

Couldn't find anything in the regs....

Sounds ok, as long as the factors have been allowed for.

I agree with the maths etc. However I have read somewhere that anything with a 2Kw load or higher must be on its own circuit. If this is the case then i would put in 2 16a 2.5mm T&E radials with SFCU for the heater with 13a fuse.

I have not heard that, but will interested to see if anyone else has. If it were me I would probably put them on separate circuits anyway (unless it means loads more work)

I thought it was 3kW, i.e Immerser and Air curtain Heater.
