Is it correct that the 2010 version of part L of the Building Regs requires 75% of the light fittings in a domestic installation be fitted with low energy lamps? Has the requirement for dedicated fittings that can only take low energy fittings been lost?

It does now mean that you can fit a normal rose with BC/ES pendant and utilise the low energy lamps

 

[IQ Electrical]

There are different requirements for domestic and commercial and new-build and refurbishment.
