My old boss used to issue these certs on domestic jobs along side either an EIC or MWC.
But where the hell do you get the certs or software copies from? I've tried Google but not having any joy!

Certainly sounds like someone trying to confuse the customer and provide a meaningless certificate that appears to legitimise a job.
A building regulations compliance certificate though..., ha but they can only be issued by LABC or on behalf of LABC.

I'm guessing its just a bit of tarted up paper confirming electrical work in a domestic property has conformed to approved doc p?
I'll have to email my old gaffer and ask him I guess!

A place I subbed at a while back used to issue them and frankly they're a load of old bolox. It's a photocopied piece of cack with tick boxes confirming what had been done (which they got wrong but never mind)
You don't need them, all you need is your certification as appropriate. LABC do the rest on notifiable jobs.
