ok just few small questions about part p schemes
it is to my understanding of part p that i can register if i have 2330 lvl 2,3 my 17th edition and 2391 is that correct or am i wrong there?
is it acceptable to have a 2392 instead of a 2391 ?
and also for alot of the company's you can sighn with like niceic you need liability insurance and for the companies i have looked for you need to be atleast 21 years of age so does this mean as a 17 year old i cant register for another 4 years?

thanks

You are compliant to part p with those quals (at 17! Well done) just have to comply with building regs and submit test sheets to your scheme or labc. As for the 21 year old part I don't know but someone will be along shortly to answer.

Age restrictions
This qualification is not approved for use by candidates under the age of 18, and City & Guilds cannot accept any registrations for candidates in this age group.

did you mean practising law institutes .? or is it something completly diffrent like Performance Linked Incentive?
cos ive never heard of it and im registered self employed atm
or did you mean for starting a business

PLI = Public Liability Insurance, you may also need Professional Indemnity too, depending on what work activities you intend to do.

Regards WA

If you're talking only of joining a scheme then 2391/2392 is not a prerequisite with any of them however NAPIT do say they expect you to gain this qualification within a year. 2382-10 or 2382-20 is a must.

You will need Public Liability insurance of minimum £2 million, probably professional indemnity insurance, 2 completed jobs and a 12-month trading record (NICEIC).

You will be expected to prove your competence at the 2 nominated sites.
