I'm a little confused with part p test sheets. I've got my site assesment in about a month so I'm revising like crazy to remeber all the correct readings. My question is when I have my part p do I still fil in an EIC as usual or is there a part p certificate to fill in?
What I'm getting at is what's stopping joe bloggs electrical coming in, filling out an EIC and saying its a part p certificate? Sorry if it sounds confusing.

You are 100 percent correct about confusing!

There is no such thing as a "Part P certificate".

What is it you are asking??

What Part P is , you do your work do an installation certificate ,minor works etc , then you notify it to the council or trade body and then the council send a certificate to the house holder to say its been tested in accordance to the building regs..BS7671 etc.. me its one of the savings the goverment should make and scrap it all save money on postage and time ,and make every one who works in electrical be regestered as plummers do with corgie / gas safe etc
