Hi all
I am currently trading as a Plumber and will be starting my Part P trainining (to complement my existing business) early in 2010. As I have a birthday in a few weeks I thought I would ask if you have any suggestions for my prezzie list ???????????

BS 7671 & the on site guide if you don't already have them.

Hi Sintra
Thanks for your reply I bought both when I signed up for the training. I have main tools and a multi meter but no real "sparky" type tools yet :)

A good screw driver set a pair of pliars and a pair of side cutters all insulated to 1000v should get you going.

Just been reading through the tool forum. Will be looking for pliers drivers etc & perhaps a new box to keep the tools seperate ?

The IEE Electrician's Guide to the Building Regs (like the On-site Guide but green) is a useful book to have. Although not absolutely necessary, I found it very helpful
