part p

could some one please explain the diffrence between part p and the 17 edition?

Part P is a section of the building regulations, whereas the 17th edition of BS 7671 are the requirements for electrical installations.

so if i got an 17th edtion can i still do work that falls under part p?

one more question please i going to take an update for the 17edtion has i already have my 2330 level 2 & 3 was wondering how many questions are asked and how many do u have to get right to pass thanks for every 1s help
