Iam a gas engineer and have a Bpec part p defined scope qual level b and c, i now would like to gain further quals so to carry out domestic electrical work, i was thinking of adding the full scope part p add on and the mandatory 2382-10 but not working full time on electrical installs will i not have the required experiance to register on a domestic installer scheme. Any advice welcome.....................

to register on a scheme they usually only ask for a di qual (full scope) if you have that then just pay your fees and they couldnt care less about experience.

2382 is required within first year of registration.

do a di full scope course, get 2382 just for the sake of it and they will allow you to join, show during assesment that you have a vague idea of what to do and your in the club.
