Goin to become a member of napit need some info advice is welcome' I work for someone at the minute can I use my own work I did with my employers insurance? Also whats the minimum required work they look for? I got part p I have 17th edition and 2330 level 3 is that ok? Any help plz

I'm afraid I cannot advise on this scheme provider but I personally would contact them directly for one reason only to start with... To see how helpful they really are;)

Looking at the qualifications you mention you look set for most but I "Think" I have seen posted elsewhere on the forum that you will need to hold the 2391 or need to have passed the 2391 within 12 months of enrolling. Please do not quote me on this though :(

Good Luck when your assessment comes along and I hope a Napit member may be a long shortly to advise you in greater detail.

Regards

I'm full scope with Napit, fantastic organisation. You will need 2391-10 in addition to the quals you have, you can join without it but must attain in within 12 months. You will also need copies of the 17th edition BS7671, guidance note3, GS38, EAWR 1989, approved doccument p, 2million pounds public liability insurance in the companies name, 250 k of indemnity if you do PIR, all testers calibrated with certs, also they like to see previous certificates you have issued and are keen on the quotation, contract, invoice & recipt procedure, also a site diary, waste disposal policy, customer complaints log and health and safety policy for the company...... And a good job to take them to so they can observe your testing capabilities ect and some technical knowledge........I think I've coverered it!!!.Well worth joining, I see Snowdon in your username, if you are in North Wales then u will prob have Geoff Oliver, very very helpful and above all else nice understanding fella, cant fault them
