Could someone please give me a brief explanation about part p and what exactly it is. As i am in Northern Ireland it does not apply here.
From what i have read on here it is part of building regs and only applies to domestic installations. Was it brought in to stop DIYers?
I do various jobs on the mainland but these are all commercial and industrial so part p doesn't apply (I hope).

Sorry for what might appear to be a silly question but some info would be good and help me understand it more.

Another way for the government to make more money mate.Part P doesn't apply to commercial or industrial.
