im rewiring part of a bungalow it only has one ring main for the whole property. The floor area is less than 100m but the kitchen has a number of appliances. can i keep it as one ring main for whole house or add new ring main. i want to add a new ring main but that adds cost to job, just want to know will it be safe on one ring main?

Depending on the loading on the ring it should be ok on 1 ring main. however it would be adviseable to install another to minimise inconvenience if that circuit breaker trips leaving no power to every socket in the house.
